CSE (Certificate of Secondary Education) Certificates 

Here you will find our Novelty, Replacement Copies of CSE certificate templates. These were the exams used prior to 1988. If you need a  certificate
for 1988 or later then you will need to visit the GCSE page.
Please see table which explains the equivalence of CSE's and O-Levels to the GCSE's of today. Please bear this in mind if you need qualifications equivalent to the standards of GCSE grades.

 CSE Certificates (Pre 1988)

 £100 including Recorded Delivery

  • The CSE certificates are printed onto paper/card relevant to the corresponding certificate).

  • The CSE Certificate Explanation notes printed on the reverse (corresponding to the year of your qualification)

  • CSE Certificate Watermark

  • Your choice of CSE Certificate Subjects and Grades (CSE's were numbered grades; Grade 1 being equivalent to a low C  in GCSE or O-Level and a Grade 5 was equivalent  to a grade E/F in GCSE or O-Level)

  • CSE certificates weren't as highly regarded as a Full O-Level (Gifted pupils were entered for O-Levels)

​Please note: We do have 100's of CSE Certificate templates for most years but in the event of us not having that particular template for the year you require you will be given the option to order a Statement of Results instead which is what you would receive if you applied to the Exam board for a replacement certificate. We would obviously contact you first but there is an option for you to select on the order form.

After filling in a short form you will be asked to pay a small deposit, after which we will send you proof photographs. We will then send a link to pay for the balance of your certificate once we have your approval.
